The most helpful wisdom I gain from those I follow and learn from is not rocket science, but it sure is changing the way I view ministry…in my home, in my church and in my job.
I recently listened to this podcast, God Centered Mom: Raising Girls with Sissy Goff, and it is revolutionary.
Podcasts are a great way to intake information. I will say, the first time I listened as I cleaned my house and folded laundry with kiddos running around. But I knew this information was so necessary that I had to listen again.
This time with my husband on a road trip. Pen and paper in hand. And notes, I took so many notes.
This podcast was specifically geared toward raising girls and since that’s what I’m raising, I was all in. God Centered Mom also has a raising boys podcast (The Art of Nurturing Boys: episode 119) which they reference, and I am sure it is phenomenal, too.
The podcast covered:
- beauty
- emotions
- friend drama
- sister relationships
- mean girls
- mother/daughter relationships
It ran the spectrum from little girls to older teens, friend drama to identity.
I can’t recommend this episode enough! Girls ministry can happen in church, on a basketball court, or in your home, and it is so necessary.
Listen and enjoy!
